AAP ad boasts of SIT on 84 riots! But where is the file Mr. CM?

“On an advertising spree ahead of assembly polls in Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is highlighting its achievements in Delhi. One of the self proclaimed achievements is formation of SIT on 84 riots. But AAP’s double standards are already exposed as it was surfaced eleven months later that file meant to initiate SIT was missing.”

AAP has time and again raised the issue of Anti Sikh riots to score political points. In the run-up to assembly polls in Delhi, Kejriwal showed commitment to probe into anti Sikh riots case. And, as soon as Kejriwal came into power, Delhi government announced formation of Special Investigation Team (SIT). But to utter disbelief and shock to the voters who had imposed much faith in him, it was surfaced that the file meant to constitute SIT was missing.

Missing SIT file

Ahead of assembly polls in Punjab, AAP is issuing huge advertisement in all the leading publications of the regions. AAP is highlighting SIT formation as one of the major achievements but it fails to elucidate on the status SIT.

AAP might have kept up it word by forming SIT in February 2015 but their commitment again proved eyewash as it was surfaced from media reports in January 2016 that the file meant to constituent SIT was missing and Delhi government was clueless about that.

The file was marked to Delhi home minister, Jitender Singh Tomar. When he was confronted with media about the missing file, he first rubbished it as rumour but realized his mistake later as deputy home secretary had issued a circular to all the departments, requesting them to trace the missing file.

It is now clear that Kejirwal is playing with emotions of Sikh to gain political mileage. Kejriwal showed commitment to deliver justice to Sikhs in anti Sikh riots case but they never allowed the probe to happen. He can no more play with emotions of hapless people as his dubious moves of playing dirty politics on religious ground now stands exposed.
